Our research and innovation activity is in the field of Animal Health and Public Health, focusing on infectious and parasitic diseases that affect ruminants and suids, some of them caused by zoonotic pathogens.

The main lines of activity include various aspects of epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and control of diseases, with special attention to the development of vaccines, improvement of vaccines to DIVA and development of in vitro and in vivo models for drug screening.
